Xbox --> Comp Monitor
<div class="IPBDescription">VGA adapters and stuff...</div> I'm thinking of buying an Xbox, but with my cramped quarters at college, there is no room for a TV, so if I do decide to buy an Xbox, I will need to hook it up to my Computer Monitor. The thing is, I don't want to spend like $50 on an advanced VGA adapter, so do any of you have suggestions on a cheap VGA adapter that I would be able to use?

What he said. The only way I know how is to get an All In Wonder card, and run it into that.

I do not have a TV-in
ATI makes PCI All In Wonders. Sound would be hooked up to the Xbox itself, unless you ran the Xbox sound to line in on the PC, but I'm not sure you could get 5.1 sound if thats what you're goin for, it would either be stereo or mono.
Best one.
