New To The Game

Hey I am downloading NS as we speak. I was reading up on all the forum threads to familiarize myself with the game before I go step in.....this game sounds kick **obscenity**. I know its not CS but you can say they are both related in one sense. You need to work as a team to be able to win. I play Warcraft 3 and I am one of the best on battlenet for StarCraft so I think I would make a good commander. Once i get use to all the commands and all the things and maps a commander can and has to do I think I should be fairly decent for a newbie. If anyone is willing to help me out on these things i would be gratfull. Thanx all hope to play with you guys someday.

    This game has definately taken the place of CS for me. No more must I be gunned down by hacking, camping AWP **obscenity**! I now get slashed down by cloaked, camping, CHUCKLING skulks.

    Skulks death is more fun, at least i get to frantically shoot in circles praying to hit him, hence why I play Aliens most the time <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Oh, and I'm sure you would make a good commander, it's not really hard, you jsut need to micro extremely well. Never have marines without orders, and never order marines to go out alone.     The most important thing IMO (at least when playing alien) is to get familiar with maps. Load up a LAN game with some bots and learn your way around the maps. A LAN game is also useful to get familiar with the Command Console.
