Hi! Work in progress screenies. You're bound to spot some problems with them (I.E a dark lightspot or two, forgot to add it into my .rad). Looks very marine freindly right now, that will change so ignore that minor problem for the time being if you will.
Approximately 3 weeks build time thus far. Max r_speed 1140. Average of 700/900 without any optimizations. Now, I've been having some major issues with my monitors brightness/gamma so I hope these appear the way they are supposed to be.

Offtopic : i h8 the Steel Troll name, just coz i made an account name called Steel and then forgot the pasword and lost the email pasword... argh, well, anyway, the name is Steel!!

'Fraid so. I deemed it rubbish and ceased production. I didn't fancy rebuilding it for the 3rd time so laid it to rest and started up on this instead. At least I have a better chance at finishing this. Co's nice 'n small, easy to make. Most of the time anyway...
I just hope it will play as well as it looks...

As I mentioned in my initial post - the Marine friendly look will be dealt with in the latter stages. I'll be adding friendly and easy to access routes for skulks and lerks to counter the open areas of the map. Of course, there will be cover and sneaky hidey holes. Everyone likes hidey holes.

Thanks. I started out with a much bigger plan for the Marine Start, but r_speeds got the better of me and I had to cut back on my idea. I'd of liked to have completed my plan for it, but I don't think people would enjoy a marine start with 2500 wpoly.

I pointed out the minor things that would make the map appear smoother and try to help lower r_speeds to you on MSN, so nothing else to do but be a "two word poster" - Nice Stuff.

Might I bother you to let me have the .rmf from it?
my real map (not my school project map) is on hold due to lack of ideas... and I'd be willing to credit you in it (and possibly re-build and give it back to you?)

If I still had the .rmf I'd release it for everyone to rip apart and do whatever with.

If you are talkign about parabola, the source is lost and therefore can not be made to a beta. Although if you mean an already compiled old BSP, it can be decompiled, remade and learn't from or just simply played on. If Dux^ has one available.
