<div class="IPBDescription">Remake for lower polys and easier skin</div> Well, some of you may have seen the prior model I did of the GatorV2 by Drake. Due to some concerns of mine with skinning and poly counts, I've decided to re-do this model.

BTW Drake: I modified the barrel guard to decrease polys about half (One side was about 700 polys vs 400 for both sides). Current Poly Count is 720. I will also probably modify the butt of the gun for looks of the shoulder pad.
1134 -- looking like about a 1700 poly total with hands, hopefully -- so not too much more than stock

final poly count is 1472 pre-hands... i shaved just about everything i could while keeping both sides of the model intact.
wouldnt mind using that, always did like the original gator but it was a tad large for LMG <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Well, you have to realize that the model is unskinned. Lots of detail will be added there for poly reasons. Also, the cylinders are only 9 polys so i realy can't scavenge much there. Most of the polys are in the grip, body, and barrel guard.

default poly count with hands is 1680 -- looking at right around 2000 on this one with hands. Current poly count is 1470

I dunno -- i just wanted to make it, since its already UV'd, I wouldn't want to take away from the other entries chance to get meshed.
