    Cause we all know that cheese is just so freakin' sexy!

    I think a lot of people hate Halo and Halo2 purely because of the hype. Sometimes hype can be negative. People get sick of hearing it, and think it is simply overrated.

    I happened to like halo very much, and I am looking forward to Halo 2. Some of you guys may not feel that way, but don't judge Halo 2 before you even play.

    Are you trying to say that the Halo 2 engine can't handle three people at once so the Microsoft PR team decided to photoshop in a fellow? Because other than that (idiotic) possibility, the marketing team has nothing to gain from "photoshopping" a character in.

    All the halo-hating is getting on my nerves, especially when people just hate it for the sheer reason that others liked it. That, or they read Penny Arcade and couldn't tell you what was wrong with the game other than "OMG COPY PASTE LEVEL GG." When you ask them what else they found disagreeable, they'll tell you "never played it."

    How about we all give it a go. if it's god-awful, you guys were sure right all along and I congratulate you for it. you're definitely very adept at being cynical bastards.

    Only thing I didn't like about Halo was the repetive maps. Other than that, a pretty good FPS.     That, and the Co-Op mode is great. Even most PC games lack that option.

    Appearantly I'm the only person in these forums who liked BOTH Halo and Half-Life single player. AND on top of that liked their stories, respective atmospheres, etc.

    ive played halo 2 at a presentation by microsoft on a 5 vs 5 setup... and the only thing i thought after 10 minutes watching others playing, looking at the disapointed faces of other peoples..hearing the nerdy fanboys still hyping about the game, and 5 minutes playing it myself was "i have to get out of here..this sucks"

    i was going over to need for speed underground 2.. now that was cool

    seriously.. halo2 looks like halo 1, with a lil bit better world textures, and barely visible bump mapping effects... but playing the covernants and be able to kill the masterchief was.... almost orgasmic..
