In a word: OMFGROOFLES. I haven't laughed that hard since a few of the good Aqua Teen episodes from last season. Very, very funny stuff. Most of it can't be repeated here. :P
So far my favorite character is Toot.
"I cut myself because it makes the pain stop!"
Perhaps the most ingenius thing about the show is how it plays off the traditional cartoon types/genres, mixing them all together. The princess seems right out of a disney flick, complete with random outbursts of song & hidden phallases, Foxy is your classic Scoobie Doo cliche, etc.

I can't see it lasting.
I'm liking captain whats his face, the super hero. Hes like "I'd like to see one of those hot black chicks right about now" and then she walks in, and hes like "damn I'm good at this.. how about a... twelve year old and a donkey!" And then it does the perfect amount of times of switching the view between him, and the door, just to make you laugh enough when nothing happens, but not to over do it. I can see this show lasting.
Quite frankly I was creeped out just a little by Toot. Cutting herself.. and the cheese wizz.. oh god its too much. Cant wait to see the next episode..
And yeah, south park was halarious. I loved when he frenched the llama.. lmfao.

I reallly really want to see this show now that I saw the clip. Extremely politically incorrect and yet so hilarious. What spanky ham says to ling ling in the preview had me laughing so freaking hard.

Wow, that sounds awesome except for oh wait that has been a staple LJ gag for YEARS.
Story vs Funny
You can't have both. The more towards funny you go, the less the storyline makes sense, and the more the "plot" goes just to be funny.
At hte top we have all story, little funny. At the bottom, all funny, little story.
Like the old simpsons:
More storyline than funny. ACTUALLY HAD A PLOT! Sometimes it even had a moral. Occasionally they had jokes.
Little more funny, less story:
Futurama had a lot of gags, but it still had a decent plot line.
More funny than story:
Family guy. Still has a storyline, but it is a little more centered around jokes. Also they do a lot of cut scenes just for a laugh.
The new simpsons:
Complete opposite of old simpsons. Everything is a gag-reel, and if it isn't funny, it isn't done. Therefore, plots have to be funny (and they usually don't make much sense).

The new simpsons isn't near as funny as the old simpsons. Family guy is the funniest show ever. Futurama is entertaining, usually funny.
Loosely translated from Britisheese to American English, would that mean "kick in the nads"?
As for Drawn Together, I didn't quite like it. The song bit was kind of funny, but I didn't find the rest all that entertaining. When I was sexual innuendo in my cartoons, I'll go watch The Venture Brothers.(Which is the best show ever. I mean, Polar bears driving snowmobiles with mounted machineguns and sidecarts with guys in scubagear commanded by a ghost pirate? Where can you lose? Did I mention it has ninjas?)
like southpark has a lot of cursing but its done humorously, this one simply has a pig peeing on everything, then raping things, its simply not funny.
And the one girl who is so uncomfortable with her weight she cuts herself is supposed to be funny!? NO.
It had some good gags, but unless they clean up some things for ep 2, it wont fly.
That's the best part! :D
Funniest scene is when she slightly lifts up her skirt and there are lots of razor cuts everywhere. heh.
"You could cut the tension in the room with like a +6 sword"

...I didn't see it, but it sounds like zel is right. A girl cutting herself for being overweight? Hits a bit close to home for me(I was overweight, had a lot of bad feelings about myself. I never cut myself, but a surprisingly hot girl I know did because of her mom.)
