That is, you scare everyone away and get the candy to yourself.

You mean 127.0.0.1, or for the IPV6 people, ::1
Hrm I still have to think of what I'm going to wear... we get bonus marks in school for dressing up, which is the only reason I'm even bothering.

Liquid Latex.
you basicaly layer that stuff on your skin, and then cut and peel as if it was reel skin: Great lacerations and decaying flesh <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
if you want to texture your face you use cotton balls and liquid latex covering them.
Oh, and my fav costume ever was freshman year in HS.
I had hair that was about 5" long (it is now about 2 feet), elmers glue makes some great horns.
Yah, 2 big old horns, painted my hair black (blondie), red tips, and vampire fangs (fangs were jsut b/c I had em).
I had teachers giving me back tests by placing them on my horns....
been trying to recreate it ever sinse (with hair ranging from about 7" to my now 2')
I havn't found anytihng strong enugh (wood glue dosn't cut it) as my hair is stupidly thick also.

super glue.
If you do, a good way to go about it would be support wires, and spirit gum. A LOT of spirit gum. It does (eventually) wash out, but it dries very tough and will stay that way virtually forever, until you hit it with the solvent. Just make sure you don't glue your hands to your hair.
Extra-alternately, try cutting your hair. Or braid it around guide wires, fill it out with cotton and liquid latex, and make yourself 'shells' to slip over the hair-columns.
Personally, I'm going one easier.. as Mr. Hand, from Dark City. I just have to find a gray wool scarf, and some leather gloves.
I have tried a few things (including support wires).
I don't want to permenatly damage my hair (as I like my hair, touch it and die <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
the one I always wondered about was what ever you use to make a mohawk (like the 3' ones). I figgure that plus suport wires would make the perfect one.
however as I work on haloween (no I can't dress up) I am doing jack and squat.
wait.
sunday
I don't work.
Oh, well, still not doing anything unless any one wants to invite me to a haloween party in NYC.

Great movie, don't know how many people would get it though.
I'm making a big U-magnet around myself and taping/gluing barbie dolls to the ends of it.
Chick magnet.
Also, a mohawk is centralized on the head. It's supported by your nugget, not hanging off one side, where the lever effect will make it fall.
I am sorta tempted to try something again, if not else then to freak with the wee ones comming to my door.....
I mean, since you wouldn't have to dress up or anything.
lol, New Yorkers.

Shovel + torn clothes + Groovy = pwn
Black balaclava, a black bit of material that goes around the head as a bandana type thing.
Black long shirt, black pants, black shoes, it's very simple. I'm also making some "common house nunchucks" out of a broom and a small bit of chain. Cut two equal length bits of wood, unclip a short bit of chain, and im thinking of different ways to embed the chain into the wood - maybe drill down a bit of the side, wedge it in, glue it, wrap in duct tape. spray paint the whole thing black [except the chain maybe], then colour the duct tape portion silver. wrap the handle part of the nunchucks in duct tape as well. voila.
I was originall going to make throwing knives but i left it too late and it would have been ridiculously hard. As would have been a sword.
I'm gonna try and make this in one day:
<a href='http://www.ibiblio.org/jmaynard/TRONcostume/' target='_blank'>http://www.ibiblio.org/jmaynard/TRONcostume/</a>
Of course, I'm gonna secksy it up a lot, and make it so my.... *ahem* "junk" doesnt show like his.
works every year <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

to attach the chain go to a hardware store, they have little round discs with loops on them. screw those to the ends of the poles and then attach the chain.
