I'd like to offer an apology to anyone who has played on our server,
<b>[FAT]'s Accidental Bowel Movement v3.0b5 69.93.41.35:27015</b>.

It seems we've left a lot of bad blood amongst the veteran and competive communities. Our server has matured over the last 1.5 yrs, and our admins have matured as well.

All bans have been lifted. If you return to play do not do so with the intent of stirring up old problems.

    I wasn't advertising.

    I just encounter many former server visitors that feel the need to flame me when I play with them on other servers. I'm trying to let bygones be bygones.

    They're starting to see the light. I still remember the day when I first joined #cri last season and pubbed on the FAT server, I got banned for being in #cri. Glad to see things are changing for the best now. If only other server admins open their minds up to actually see the truth sometimes, there may still be hope for competitive NSPlayers visiting various pubs.

    I just played there and got banned for hacking. :/

    (I'm guessing it was for hacking, as I wasn't talking at all and never received any warnings for rules.)

    Edit: Also, I just checked the server rules, and bunnyhopping is not allowed. Of course you may do whatever you wish with your server, but be warned that not many skilled players are going to take the server seriously with that rule.

    And it seems I'm not banned anymore.

    You still have to abide by the rules though and please please please try to join the less advantaged team if you are an insanely good player.

    Well, like a civilian said, if one of the rules is that you can't bunnyhop, then you won't get a lot of good players joining. If they do join, then they probably would just join the marine side because for aliens to be effective, bunny hopping is necessary.

    I think it's funny that people who consider themselves good can't play well without bunnyhopping.

    If that's what makes them good, then I'll stick to being mediocre. Bunnyhopping is one of the more ridiculous things to come out of FPS gaming.

    no we just like to bunnyhop. It's fun. Why pub on a server with bhop banned when you can easily play on a server with bhop and have more fun?

    I garuntee that people that kick your **** w/ bhop would still own you w/o bhop.

    1) bhopping is fun

    2) bhoppig doesnt automatically make u a good player because bhop is easy to hit (because its so predictable. after youve seen 1 skulk bhop at u youve seen them all)

    3) if you'd just learn to play the game as it's meant to be played, and stop whining, you'd get more out of this game and it'd be more fun for you.

    By your logic, I can still do decent on a team without aiming. I've tried this before, while stoned and while sober, it's not fun to run into a wall and only into a wall because I don't feel like aiming. Without aiming, you absolutely can't play unless circumstances are right and someone walks right in front of you and stops moving. Without bunnyhopping, you can still play, just not as effectively as you're used to. So, your logic is flawed.

    A more logical statement would be, I think it's funny that people who consider themselves good can't play well without wall strafing.

    For the comparison to work properly, you have to use 2 objects that are equally worthless. You see what I mean?

    Other than that, I suck at bunnyhopping. I can't do it, I might get lucky and pull it off once I have celerity, but even that's short lived. So I'm used to going marines, or rushing onos. In short, I don't care if a server has a bunnyhopping ban or not. If it doesn't, oh well. If it does, Woohoo!     your logic is the one that is flawed because u compare a trait which the game is balanced on (bhop) and a silly bonus speed increase (wallstrafe) which only works well on maps like nothing or lost.
