couse i HATE when some n00b builds a OC instead a RC in resouce places...
or if they build OC in frong places and you can´t built more couse the limit...

    Unfortunately, no. If there's such thing then lamers would start popping around and destroying every single building.

    Don't think about destroying your teams' thing because <i>you</i> can't build. Tell your teammate what he should do if you think he's new. Have some patience. I know it's hard to do so but that's the only thing that would help.

    Appearantly in certain "game types" (tournament?) you are able to attack your own buildings.

    I was on a server where this happened CONSTANTLY. I made a post about it.

    Right now, marines can shoot at their own buildings and deal damage to them. This is causing LOTS of problems with lamers killing the CC in the first few minutes of the game.

    So if you really DID want to kill your own building for a good reason, you can.

    This will be removed in the next server patch, but will hopefully enable the ability to recycle uncompleted buildings.

    Aliens can destroy their own buildings with a few of their ranged attacks.

    Yep,

    I just came from a game where some guy named "dude" just walked from one marine spawn to another killing them with his little gun.

    Then the commander dropped an hmg next to him and he started making major progress. Killed the cc, turret factories, etc. I would rate this a "must fix asap" type situation.

    Yea, it's supposed to only be an option in tornoment modes of games but sadly it's on as well in normal games which really suchs when someone joins the marine side and destroys...everything. God I hope they fix it...and or give the option to vote kick someone...or for the commander to ban them or something. I've seen it done about 3 times now in servers. Someone sits in the Spawn and destroys all the IP Armorys, RT, everything.

    Well theres two sides to this story -

    One Side - We shouldn't let other people go around destroying the teams crap, just for kicks.

    Other side - Sometimes I've build a structure then regretted it after it's - I think maybe you should be able to scavenger your own buildings, maybe thats hard to code. Maybe only gorg's can scavenger...I don't know..

    This is a rather difficult situation to deal with.

    yes, i played on this server with one that thought the game was to RUIN OUR GAME, i got his Won ID and a bunch of screenies, but this is "Player Bashing" to some... which is retarded, what about us in the game? what about our 2 hour long game ruined because of this one retard... is that not "Player Bashing"<!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
