"When we looked at the first day after the election, Nov. 3, our Web site hit a new high, almost double the previous record high," immigration ministry spokeswoman Maria Iadinardi said on Friday.
On an average day some 20,000 people in the United States log onto the Web site, www.cic.gc.ca -- a figure which rocketed to 115,016 on Wednesday. The number of U.S. visits settled down to 65,803 on Thursday, still well above the norm.
Bush's victory sparked speculation that disconsolate Democrats and others might decide to start a new life in Canada, a land that tilts more to the left than the United States.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
heh. I found this to be quite humorous. :P
And now, cue the tons of political flaming that unnecessarily comes with every single thread posted that vaguley mentions other peoples opinions...

Bye.
For a minimal fee, of course...

I'll start the flames. First there are elections in Afghanistan, then John Howard gets reelected in Australia, then I hear Arafat will soon be dead, then GWB gets reelected America, then it would seem all those I despise the most are packing up and leaving for "I have no impact on the world" Canada - and HL2 comes out in just over a week.
If Michael Moore had a heartattack, I do believe the pleasure centres in my hypothalamus would explode.
This. is. the. greatest. year. of. my. life.

I don't like the new name for Canada, but meh, we get all the good states so It'd be worth it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

That would be the coolest thing ever, but it would take a nuclear war at least to see it happen.
Pass Mark
The pass mark as of September 18, 2003 is 67.
If your mark from this test is the same or higher than the current pass mark, you may qualify to immigrate as a skilled worker.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Woo. I qualify. Now if only it wasn't so damned cold...

I find that image incredably offensive. I am a huge supporter of Bush, I'm also a Buddhist. Some people have different pollitical oppinions, that doesn't make them Jesus freaks if they happen to want John Kerry dead.
As long as you crazy gun lovers don't come to Calgary I'll be cool, go to Edmonton. Serve them right...

Talk about an oxymoron! I didn't think that was possible!
You probably found it on Fark in the Comments somewhere, Dorian. That's the first place I saw it.
If I were you, I wouldnt. If these democrat twits want to think that the only reason they lost the election was because of the evangelicals - let them. How does that famous saying go: never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.
Call me a twit if you want, but I don't believe that (the quoted reason for losing) for a second - but still get a little chuckle out of that image. It's not worth taking seriously, and I doubt the person who created it took it very seriously, either. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

To those who say, go, we don't want you. Shut up.
And then off topic: <!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->you lost, live with it and stop bashing the Republicans and Bush.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Seeing as how the democrats lost by a small percentage and they were already bashing the republicans for 4 years straight, how about no? Why should they suddenly just stop?
Btw.. Version91x wins <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

XD
I wonder why they left Alaska part of Jesusland instead of making it into it's own separate country.
Alaska's going to conquer all of North America one day, I swear. Eskimos rule. Think Iceman.
How are immigration policies for the UK, out of curiousity?
