Anyone else have experiences like this? (with anything, doesn't have to be headphones).

    one day my headphones were fine.

    the next day one of the ear dealies had a big melted hole in it.

    how it happenend i have no clue.

    My Xbox Live Communicator snapped. So I sent the entire package back, stupid Future Shop gave me a new CD though. Each CD also a one year subscription, so they just lost $70

    I don't have a cat, so I can't say that that has happend to me.

    But, I did have a pair of headphones with a bad cable. The wires kept breaking in the middle, so I kept having to cut it and soldering it until it got too short, and then I just replaced the entire cable.

    My old long earphones got their cable worn out at the plug so the wires were frayed and the left earphone didnt work, and my right was well on the way..     Four headsets have died to my sister twirling the wire too much, the other died for the same reaon yours did.

    My cats have, to this date, crapped on my hoody, bed, laundry, DDR pad, shoes, and floor.
    (That's just the stuff in my room, nevermind my whole house)

    I closed my microphone in my computer case when I reached in to turn on the light for the day, it caught the wire and shorted it out. Later I got on teamspeak, everyone is screaming OMG STATIC BAN QUIT MAKING NOISES, but I didnt know i caught it in the door, so I'm trying to talk saying what noises. Took me 10-20 minuites to notice what I had done, then I got mad and went to the store and bought me a new pair

    That's what I got. Only problem is that mine seem to break very easily, so I've had to return them and exchange them (via the love best buy 2 yr warrenty that I bought for $5). They've lost SO much money to me, that everytime I go back, I expect them to say "Well sir, I think 10 times is enough."
