    hey, question. if an sc is close to a hive and it sences a marine, does it say "the enemy approaches"?

    and if it dosnt...can it?

    The range on hivesight is pretty small nowadays. It's quite possible to not even see a parasited marine if you're working on the one of the other hives.

    bout _special. Ok, some stated that it spams commands, yet can anyone tell me HOW?

    The _special command executes every frame.

    You can set the _special alias as an on/off script, so as long as you hold they key down, it executes every frame until you let go. This lets you have a perfect bunnyhop jump and fire exactly on the pistol rate of fire cap.

    In theory anyway.


    I have a number of _special scripts, yet I don't use any of them because they're just not practical. The only one I use is the _special jump script for when filming jumps for videos. All the other pistol scripts, pistol strobe scripts etc just plain suck.
    You cant aim with the pistol whilst holding down mouse1 to fire, it just doesn't feel natural like constantly clicking does.

    so you just paste _special behind a command?

    Anywayz, you are right. having something executed every frame is dumb.
