See, even artificial brains enjoy videogames <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Actually, that is pretty cool. Making a brain from random neurons.

    What they're basically saying is that a rat can fly an F16.

    Interesting.

    Ethically speaking, doesn't this strike you as kinda scary? I mean it's great progress and all, certainly seemed not too long ago when people thought that siding their wooden battleships with iron was insanely cool, but using a living thing and cutting the line between living and artificial so close is somewhat creepy.

    Well, these are old news for now <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Actually, if we talk about brains, then lately it was proven that human brani is somehow active in some small parts after death. I will post some information here later if you are interested maybe...

    Saw it a while back. They never said anything about <i>fighter</i> jets though. Just civilian ones.

    Just hook it up to a CS server and voila, the average intelligence will probably quadruple. That, and the chat will probably make more sense, even if all the brain does is spam "wop" repeatedly.

    Oh, and I read it was an F22 sim they had it flying. And as far as I'm concerned, its only ethically questionable if the neurons are self-aware and sentient. If not, then its really no different than a computing cluster. As for how to test if its sentient, no clue.
