Shouldn't that result in lots of spam about hl2?

Proof today that Shockwave sucks at something and that I am better at Hearts than both DOOM and Shockwave.

    Excited me anyway.

Why don't we just talk about HL2, then?

I preordered it. Getting it on Tuesday. Gonna skive off half of school just to play it. Just hoping my expectations aren't too high...

I am expecting it to be the best shooter to date, though. Actually, I can't think of a single announced shooter that looks better than HL2. The graphics, the sound, the AI, the level design, the story, the characters, everything about it looks incredible.

According to all reports, I could just go to Best Buy and pick up a copy now, anyhow.

I just got out of bed at 3pm. It seems Moosehead and me don't get along to well.

Same here. I won't be dogging college since I won't be working at the night. Hopefully when I get home there should be a brown package with "Amazon.co.uk: And You're Done" on it.

I wish I could do that, I haven't had a chance at all this week. Today I got up at 7am, and the day before I got up at 5.30am for work.

On a related note, I'm rather torn between buying it off Steam and buying it retail. I'd like to have a hard-copy (and by that I mean a pressed copy, not some burned-CD deal which might rot anyways), but on the other hand, I think VU is a company of smacktards and I feel that a Steam purchase would be the way to make sure my money goes only to Valve. What do you guys think?

    Red Alert.

I'm playing all the C&C games in chronological order back to back. For the past few days I've played only as soviet, I'm about to finish Red Alert and soon to start the expansions.

    Fun times.

I hope to be finished in time for christmas so I can buy myself Generals and Zero Hour, even tho I don't strictly believe either to be a TRUE C&C game. But such is life.

I've tried purchasing via Steam but it doesn't like my Switch/Maestro card. Which is a pain, because I feel the exact same way,

I'm watching the progress bar on my HL2 preload.

    Yes. I am that bored.
Especially seeing as i'm going to delete the preload when i install my retail copy.

I ate this tasty cookie called an alpine, which has nuts and white chocolate in it. It was good. Then I played Diablo 2 for about 3 hours to relive the days of old, and became a level 13 paladin! Woohoo! Shortly thereafter, I decided to check the news as I seem to do this about 12431245123 times a day, and then came here to find some more reading material. That is all.

You realize you could just as easily leave the preload there and unlock it with the CD Key you get from the retail copy, and leave your discs nice and snug in their jewel cases?

Been trying way too many characters in WoW. Tauren Hunter. Human Warlock. Human Warrior. My old Night Elf Rogue. Dwarven Hunter. Gnome Warlock.

I just want HL2 to come out. Anyone up for a murder run on Vivendi? I bet their headquarters is in California, right?

    I'm at work...

Sundays are slow at the airport.

I did take the fuel truck out to get gas, got it into third gear, balled down the highway at 17mph, and got flipped off by passing moterists. It was great.

    Yep.
