From what i've heard, they're going to release some media stuff this spring.

They put TF2 on pause when they started work on HL2 so that they could put TF2 on HL2's engine. TF2 is their next project after a little break (Working for that long on a game really burns you out) so you should be expecting some more information soon.

    We'll see...

Though I'm scared at how they seem to be changing TFC into a realism mod ala the TF1.5 patch. Realistic maps/models...

    We'll see...

There was some talk on vehicles. I remember a tank but not a helicopter.

I just want a damn TF in the Source engine, at least. And soon, at that.

I'm pretty sure they're still working on the a proper sequel to TFC. Never heard of a TFC:S though. I remember reading an article on TF2 oh so long ago. It would've had a commander class iirc.

I'm pretty sure TF2 will be a commercial product to be purchased, like DoD:S will be. I don't know about the TFC Source port since CS:S was included in the release of HL2.

If the original Team Fortress site is correct, Team Fortress II was being worked on for the Quake 2 engine 6 years ago before the developers were hired by Valve to make it for HL1, then HL2.
