<div class="IPBDescription">I can't play due to crashing issues.</div> On 99% of servers I enter after a few minutes or even seconds I am dropped back to the server select screen. I have looked around the website, but I have found no help for my problem. I am also getting this problem with Day of Defeat. It could even be a problem with Half Life 1 and all of it's mods. What do? I really need help ASAP.

I think it is a problem with Steam itself, what is the error saying when it crahses back to the server select screen?

All in all if its also happening on DoD, you might want to reinstall Steam, but check out the steam forums for further information at www.steampowered.com I'm sure you can get much more help their in the tech section.

    thanks

If you have WindowsXP SP2, that could be your problem. Try disabling any firewalls that you may have and see if that helps.

Yes, "steamed" its when steams servers crash or restart and leave a server of 32 dead with about all of them being kicked at once, everyone in the gaming community refers to it as being steamed.

Again, if you don't like my posts ignore me or them. If you never heard it being described as steamed you must not play enough to be familiar with it. Also flamming my threads will get you know where with me. Its just like a huge IRC netsplit... for the kiddies who don't understand what steamed is...

it's an amx glitch when the plugins load slowly, Ive never heard of it being a steam problem directly.Intresting Im gonna look that up.
