<div class="IPBDescription">post yer best alien scores</div> I had no idea that would cause such a stir. I assumed people would realize taht it was just a little attempt at some fun. I play as a team member first and foremost, anyone who has ever played with me would know this. I do enjoy knowing my score as an alien, it shows my efficiency and its nice to see what i difference i made. If all of you are so worked up about it being a "team only game" then im sorry i posted this, i will know in the future to avoid any such topics. Sorry to have caused irritation.

    just for clarification, the teams werent uneven the whole game, a few marines dropped when the herd of onos charged in at the end.... and the guy complaining in the background about marine damamge didnt understand what umbra did hehe.

    Hmmm... my best score probably was...

    Oh yeah! I was a Gorge and had 2 kills and 5 deaths but I managed to build up all three hives and secured them properly before the enemies could gain much ground. While my teammates were slowly pushing the marines back I healed them and sometimes when the area was clear I built lots of defense chambers, protected by offensive chambers where my fellow aliens could get their wounds healed. I also made sure that every upgrade was available, webbed the floors and every marine I could see, thus nearly neutralizing the threath until my teammates were finally here to finish him off.

    exactly so why are is the alien kill/death ratio visible? it just gets more aliens killed going for score

    sky, the scores are visible to see just how many times you had died and killed in one game. its just there to see how effective you were in combat, and the reason why marines dont need scores is becuase they <i>are</i> good; esp. in groups of 3-6.

    just to see how effective your play style was, and how good your upgrades went with that play style. nothing more.

    Because its ghey! Scores are meaningless! I am in favor of removing he aliens score too. No Scores for ANYONE, or only a team average.

    You guys should calm down, the aliens have a score because it promotes attacking, if you have a problem with people bragging simply don't read the thread and if it should be locked it will be. Right now my "best score" is only 30-2, not too impressive but eh I spend most games as a Gorge usually.

    Hey xen.oz its fake, marines have 101 deaths and Piele has 120 kills. A marine could of left but i doubt he would have died over 18 times...

    Who says that a marine did not have 20 deaths, or that only one marine left?     It took me 4 hours of exhaustive comparison, but I think SBV used paint on his. I can tell because of the icons to the right off the names had a different RGB value then the names themselves. The shading threw things off though, added like 2 hours to the time it took.

    i do care about my scores as an alien. it gives me general tally on how im doing this round, and i don't think alien scores should be removed. i just found pieles score extra-ordinary so i thought it deserved mention.
