...opinions
I have a few questions. now let's get to it. of course I want higher FPS in NS. currently in the Ready Room I see it chaning a lot...but it's usually maxing out at like 60 FPS. in gameplay it's usually about 30-35 fps. I have a GeForce2 MX 100/200 64MB using PCI slots. (I don't have AGP slots ) but anyway.
Intel Pentium 3
930 MHz, 256 MB of RAM
as far as I know....no sound upgrades and stuff. I'm curious if just going ahead and buying a new Graphics card would be able to "up the anty". or should I get more RAM...or more this or that. WHAT SHOULD I GET. (I don't have unlimited funds...but I COULD get a graphics card....nothing TOO special...)
PLEASE NS FORUMS....PIMP MY COMPUTER!
APOLLO nVIDIA GeForce FX5200 Video Card, 128MB DDR, DVI/TV-Out, PCI, Model "BLOODY MONSTER 3 GEFORCE FX 5200 PCI"
does this sound better than my GeForce2 MX 100/200 64MB?

If you can't find a PCI version of any of those cards, the FX5200 will provide a satisfactory performance increase for you. Just remember - do not ever buy another MX card for gaming!
After you upgrade your graphics card, the next bottleneck in your system will be the fact that you're using PCI instead of AGP. So your next system upgrade will have to be a complete overhaul. (Just so you know)
