<div class="IPBDescription">We need less...</div> Something I've noticed while comming recently is that there are more and more rambo's that completely ignore your orders, waypoints, whatever the situation is. Upon beacon to phase rush a hive, an entire team can just wander off, somewhat pathetic. I don't know what is to explain for all the ramboing but people don't seem to understand that to win people need to move in teams.

Anyway. I have used rambos on suicide missions to make as much noise and try to make it look like a seige is hitting a hive before, but when people just scatter and ignore orders, it seems like they play combat and have no idea what orders are...
Hear me out, rambo's can be a very good thing if:
1) they're pretty good
2) do something useful eg hive pressure / node pressure
3) are given medpacks and ammo as required
Rambo's are a double edged sword, they can be a godsend and a pub teams saviour, or a default loss.
Most people seem to confuse rambo's with people who jsut ignore orders, this is just ignorance. Most 'rambos' on pubs are simply pubbers who ignore orders and do what they want, that is just a lame player, a real rambo is typically a clan player, has a fairly high skill level as opposed to the alien team, and actually knows what he's doing (eg lmg down nodes when close to the hive, knife nodes out of the way).
This is the end of this conversation... Its dead on.
Go download some demo's of good ns clans. You will see 2 types of marines. Pressure marines and capping marines. Its not constant throughout the game, but usually, you will always have one guy working the far side of the map, recapping nodes (or on aliens, chomping them)
