when i look at the ground in ns i can see quite clearly were the quality textures end and the blury version starts.

is there any console commands to increase the distance or is to do with graphic card settings?

i have an x800 xt with cata drivers if that helps

Go to Control Panel --> Display --> Settings --> Advanced --> (From here it differs depending on your drivers, but it is something like 3d or advanced 3d)

Find the setting called Filtering or Anistropic Filtering

Turn Anistropic Filtering to its highest setting.

You can also make a shortcut to NS on your desktop by right clicking it in the steam menu. Some drivers (I know my Omegas can, but I don't know about the regular Cats) will allow you to make custom settings for each program. They let you edit the settings from the shortcut menu. On mine, I just right click, go to properties, then 3D. Nvidia cards let you do it from the Display Properties --> settings --> advanced --> Geforce menu, IIRC.

    gl_texturemode gl_linear_mipmap_linear

EDIT - Default is "gl_linear_mipmap_nearest" btw, just incase you have to switch it back for some reason.
