<div class="IPBDescription">The TSA Power Plant</div> In the far way history tsa made power plant to send power to earth by a satelite net delivering microwaves with energy for earth and your colonies.
That power plant have a fusion reactor facility with fuel tanks of deuterium and litiun to feed the toroid fusion reactor and the cooling systen, fusion control, power transmition plus the battery systen to provide power, when the reactor shutdown to maintance and to start the function of the reactor plus some facility needs.
The marines are crossing the space killing the aliens when need refueling in this power plant and the bacteriun in the spaceship infect this facility.
When the new research station in the orbit of the power plant facility start register live form in the old TSA plant send 2 crews of marines to check existence of bacteriun in the old battery systen.
the marines start the facility functions to open the doors because the battery systen are very infect so cant provide enough power.
The marines land and start unload the comchair and armories when the fusion reactor enter in plenty active but the bacteriun start grow fast puting in danger the security of the research station because bacterium soon will take the fusion controls and break the balance of fusion reaction and made a fusion explosion.
the first image we see the com chair and the marine start in the hallway they dont have enough time to find a perfect place.
the second we see the worker lockers acess by the ms hallway.
the third image we see one of the two hangar .
the four iamge we see the hallway to fuel tanks.

lighting is bland also.
the green pipes look ok, but thats the only good part of the map so far.

I remember the days when carioca posted crappy vhe shots every 10 minutes.
but THIS is something different. congratulations carioca, you menaged the first step becomming a decent mapper! you guys have to admit that no newbie ever worked this hard to achieve his goals.
criticism: allthough some mentioned the lightning its quite ok in my eyes, depending on how the setting will be. not EVERY map has to be lighted in 5 different colors with extreme contrast.
the architecture is pretty nice. I like your style of breaking up walls but the map lacks details atm. you should work on that.
im thinking in put some boxes in the hangar and turn the hallways between fuel tanks and hangar in mess halls.
the walls are made by 3 diferent textures and ceilings arent planes they have shapes more cleaver and below the floor has vents with breakable grills and this vents are less square and i will add some better lightining. the fusion controls room are 4 lvls room in group by 2 conected by duts between the 2 groups and i still think how add the light and details but i will start with vents and hangar plus turning the hallways in mess halls.

No, just wait until you have some compiled shots.
im adjusting lights and details like some computers and some small light points in the vents.
since i end the compiling i'll make some new screen shoots.
i'm beta testing this beta map with some friends and i'm very happy with this worderful work.
beta 3 come with alot details and new light i also hope to do a better work soon and show has beta 4 ^^;

why the onos? because you cant get an idea of the size of the locations...
If I could learn as fast as you, I wouldn't be failing math class right now XD
But you do need to work a bit more on texture sizing / alignment- try using more than one texture on a wall, such as a trim at the top or bottom. Try adding frames to doorways, and plz, PLEASE use a skulk or JP marine for pictures- makes it easier to get a size comparison <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
