I dont know if anyone watches this channel but there was a commercial sponsored by coca cola where they flashed a bunch of scenes from games, and i swear i saw a part of the ns trailer, where the marines open the door, infact its the button that links to the community page...

anyone else seen this?

I stopped watching that channel after G4 aquired TechTV, but I do know NS was featured on the G4 show Cinematech in a all Half-Life themed show.. It was only the old demo movie and nothing "new"

yeah, ever since it changed to g4techtv, it's gone downhill really fast. the problem is techtv was a good network, g4 wasnt, and for some reason, they think that they need to show all the g4 shows instead of the techtv ones

Slow down a bit. I'm not the one to start legal action (an unlikely choice in any case), but I'd like to get this confirmed. Unfortunately, I lack both access to G4 (this whole living in Europe thing) and a TV set, so I'll have to rely on you, our trusty community for now. Can somenoe offer confirmation, or, even better, documentation on this?

G4 sucks, but Screen Savers is still kicking... for now.

Icons is also good, but only 1 out of 20 times. Like, for example, when they did Warren Spector and Bungie.

I have not seen NS it featured in a commercial (although I hardly watch the channel any more), but as MrRadicalEd said, it <b>was</b> featured in a half life showcase that I remember watching a few months ago for a brief period of time.

would it not be easier to just contact G4 and ask them? Regardless of what you're intentions may or may not be, if you tell them that you would like to know then I'm sure they would be willing to help out?

Yea g4 is teh sux, techtv use to own back when they had the original shows and did useful stuff. Now all they do is go on and on about console games and try to sell stuff :/

Who would want to record G4TTV? Only thing remotely interesting on there is TSS and Anime Unleased.

edit: I guess you are talking about the "commercial".

like maybe an onos running over some counter-terrorists, or gorges webbing up a covenent elite.

better yet they should make a game like that. kinda like Capcom VS Marvel , execpt NS VS EVERYONE ELSE!!!!!

Guys it was just on cinematech...not a commercial. In case you aren't familiar with the channel cinematech is just a show where they show clips of different games back to back. The theme of this one was Half-life and it's mods so NS was one of the clips that was on there. They did credit VU games at the bottom before and after it if that makes a difference. On a side note i thought it was pretty cool to see it on TV even if it was slightly outdated footage. =)

Actually yes, seeing as Flay holds the copyright to all things NS and also the intellectual property rights are his afaik.
