Running a P4 1.8ghz Mobile
Radeon 7500 32mb RAM
Soundcard... whatever IBM put in here
256MB DDR RAM
Win XP
D3D 1024x768 and 800x600 modes both showed this problem
Okay, I connect to a game and get into the waiting room and my entire screen is filled with the old text and message overlays. Kind of like what happens with the screen if you go outside a map in CS or something like that. Only, this refuses to correct itself.
A workaround seemed to be disconnecting, going back to the main menu and trying again, but I just got back and it doesn't seem to work anymore.
I've also experienced the "Menu system stays on the screen after the menu has closed" problem. But that one is less annoying.

Danno have u tried using OpenGL? when you have problems such as this you need to give us detailed information about anything that might cause this (your opinion) what you have tried to do and rule out all possible problems.
