New Mod Site Needs Help
<div class="IPBDescription">looking for web page designer for mod</div> I am looking someone that would be willing to help out with doing a web site for an upcoming mod i am working on with some people.
as some of you may remember I am the mod leader of the RTS mod for UT2004 called uskaarj. well I still am leading that project and it is coming along nicely but I also have a side project called InterceptorShield that is modern day missile command type mod. the only thing that is really simular to the old missile command game is that you try to take missile out that are targeting your cities. but that is all that might be simular. Interceptorshield add alot more stuff to gameplay and makes everything 3d.
If anyone would be interested in helping out with doing a web site please let me know here.
also if anyone wants to see some ingame test pics I will post them.

my coder for this side project has the camera code worked out and will soon be sending me the camera for testing.

Another fine idea im waiting for.
but not a complete rip off just in that general look. also I can give anyone the logo for the mod sitem that wants to help out.

also I think the aiming pointer would look better at the end of Interceptorshield and not in the C.
once I have the template for the mod site I can add the stuff like news and so on.

Also, when you asked for your own logo to go in the image, were you meaning the entire thing (sans white background), or just the missiles? If you wanted the text, there'll be a problem with readability.
Also, what are you planning on having in the navigation area? I put up some general names, but if you tell me what you want, I'll get it set up beforehand.

Also ZeroByte (A) is the one I will go with for the team logo.
And I will put your name down also as a person that helped out with the art stuff for the site and team. I will also need the name you want used and email.
barnEbiss, I have a suggestion about the navigation: make "Images" into "Gallery", and remove the "News" link and make it "Home". Anything you put on the front page about the game content should go in "About", shouldn't it?
I've updated the logo and the navigation. <b>EDIT:</b> This is an experiment - I saved the logo you liked beforehand (although I feel this is far superior - that new logo helps a lot).

and also for use on moddb and logo.
the one medhead will do as our banner images and we will use your (A) as our new team logo.
Now that we know the one that will be for the team in general I was wondering
how hard would it be to make little changes to (A) so there would be one for each team member showing his status on the mod like the following.
1. Mod leader. Add "ML" into the background of the logo.
it should be on the right side just above the earth and below the missile
2. PR. Add a microphone into the background. like those old boxshaped
microphones news guys uses to sit at desk and speak into. it should be on the right side just above the earth and below the missile
3. Coder. Add 1's and 0's into the background image
4. Modeler maybe make the missile a wireframe model.
5. Skinner. maybe have the missile be gray with bits now being colored.

yeah that looks really good but could you make his logo on the site be a little bit bigger maybe?
also I was wondering what program would you recommend to be used for the news posting on the site??
our coder on the uskaarj team made up a program for uskaarj but I would like one that had more stuff. so if you know of any good systems let me know

Is it just my eyes laying tricks on me or are there gradients in the logo on the new website header? Cause it looks pretty good. Gonna throw that in the source file. As for the edits to the logo mentioned.. they sound simple enough to do. I can't do em right now though cause I stil got a bit of other work to do.

barn, I've updated the logo and made the banner larger.
ZeroByte, the text around the shield didn't work well at the smaller size; I think it still looks good without it.
Also I am going to be on the NS channel most of today and am there now so if you want to talk to me in person you we meet there.

MedHead the logo should be made larger "just the shield logo part" so the little words below the shield logo can be read, so you can see it says Interceptor Shield.
Also "Team" needs added to the nav bar.

I did Latin several years ago which is why I -was- distracted from the layout, but nevermind. It confused the hell outta me.
