512 PC3200 ram
160gb HD
ATI Radeon 7500 128mb
On board sound
I just got a new CPU and installed NS on it, well the problem is that the text in the scoreboard looks like it's about 2 font or 1 font(so tiny I can't even make out the names)
Also i'm having bad skipping problems. an onos ran in to the room, and it seemed to teleport every few seconds
I turned on net_graph and it said I get a FPS of 72 and my ping was about 60.

The Onos skipping, is this common? He may have been lagging. If you aren't noticing any other latency problems, it may not have been you or your connection.
Also, nice specs... except for the graphics card. Did NS run fine on this card before?
Makes ur fps a constant 100. 72 is default i think. Try putting that in console.

and a nvidia ge-force 4 TI 128. and it runs flawlessly. and I got a consistant 60 FPS
I just got the 7500 from a friend, because some crappy SIS Mirage2 came onboard. so he gave me his old card for free(which is significantly better, I got MAYBE 20 FPS with it lol and it was 128 also)
and what about the text problems.the little display that pops up when someone talks through the mic the text is hellishly tinyt, and on the scoreboard it is. what do I do about that?
poke around in your gui and/or rename your config files (so they get recreated)
also:
PING AND FPS ARE NOT ALL!
choke/loss are what generaly cause teleportations. (so tell us what they are)
Do you use Dialup?
if so disable the QOS Packet schedular (it is in your windows settings somewhere, as I don't use XP I don't know the patH)
