Invincible Hive?

<div class="IPBDescription">Hmmmm</div> I've been playing NS for a while now and I decided to make up my own listen server to mess around with my fellow clan members vs bots (with sv_cheats 1 of course) <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

But for some reason every hive I attack does not get hurt, and the only way to hurt them is to knife them or siege them. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I pretty much knows everything their is to know about NS, but I'm a server creator newbie....

Can anyone help?

    Make sure you have the game started by typing startgame/ gamestart (cant remember) If you have the sv cheats on and have a bunch of marines, the hive wont get damaged. Can't think of any other reason.

    Heh, done all of that, the game can be going on and the hive still wont get hurt only by knifing it.

    type mp_drawdamage 1 in console to show you if you are doing damage.
