<div class="IPBDescription">Please assist</div> I searched the forum for this problem and I found no matches. Okay, now that that's out of the way...
Whenever I get into any kind of battle, big or small, my ping skyrockets from 40 or 50 to 500/600. My FPS stays perfectly normal, but my latancy just explodes. It's really annoying and NS is nearly unplayable. I used to play the game just fine! Please, someone help me restore the game I love!
My specs:
AMD Athlon 2600+
ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 128mb
Cable connection
1Gig ram
Can anyone help?
Edit: oh yeah and all of my other HL1 mods pings are normal, so I know it's not my connection.
