You have these noises u hear in hives and in some areas, like in hera close to vent hive u hear those beep sounds.

I can turn the volume down of sound effects like shooting and music (u know the music u sometimes hear)

but those sounds u hear in specific areas are so loud.

When i play with my boxes i have no problem with that, but when i use my headset they are so annoyingly loud <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Can anyone help me turn them down.

i have a few friends who have the same problem, it would be really usefull if anyone could explain how to turn the volume down on those.

Thx in advance!

wub joo all!

I think there's no way to change the volume of specific soundfiles ingame.
You could try to edit the soundfiles manually.

open the sound file in your ns sound folder and edit it manually. even the sound recorder that comes with windows works fine.

Only things you an do is change your headphone settings (bass/treble etc.) or /stopsound and get rid of ambient sounds completely.

As Thursday said, "stopsound" is your friend (only works on wav files though <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
