<div class="IPBDescription">Which ones are allowed?</div> I got the ns.wad and a few other ns_(map)s' wads.. Can I use the hl.wad? I find that, if restricted to only NS, its fairly tough to make a well varied texture plan.

Of course you are allowed to use the hl.wad.
it contains some of the most important textures like clip,sky, aaatrigger etc...
