sys_ticrate is set to 4000
this provides a steady ping to UK players and maintains a server fps of aroun 250
I would like people to connect and test this server so I can get an idea of how well the network and these setting handel global and not just UK players.
And what better place to come to than the NS forums.

i pinged the server from my dekstop and it pings 14 - 15 to The Netherlands <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
There is only one thing, you raised your sys_ticrate to 4000 while the maximun of the linux kernel is set to 1000 (Some kernels even 500 or 100), same on Windows XP its limited to 100 and with a tweak you can raise it to 1000.
I suggest putting it back to 1000.

however you are the third to inform me of this limit to 1000 so I have changed it back to 1000.
