I Am Looking For Webcomics
I'm always trying to find new webcomics. Well, new in the sense that I haven't read them. But I'm looking for a certain kind.
Does anyone know of any webcomics that have decent artwork, a sense of continuity, good story arcs, and, while still being funny, aren't just random gag-a-day things, but have some serious situations and character development. Comics like Questionable Content and Something Positive. Not that I don't like the other styles, I do, and I read quite a few of them, but I'm looking for something different.
To save some time, I already read these:
A Softer World
Filibuster
The Order of the Stick
Able and Baker
Ctrl+Alt+Del
8-Bit Theatre
Venus Envy
Real Life
Questionable Content
S*P (Something Positive)
Penny Arcade
PvP Online
Anyone know of anything?

These should keep you busy. Just an FYI on the first two: the first comics aren't well drawn, but they get better a few strips in. ^_^

I found it in your sig, actually. Damn good stuff! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Yeah. I started reading it after you talked about it. Sig was helpful.
<a href='http://www.alpha-shade.com/index2.htm' target='_blank'>Alpha Shade</a>.
To a lesser extent:
<a href='http://www.exploitationnow.com/' target='_blank'>Exploitation Now</a>.
<a href='http://www.polymercitychronicles.com/' target='_blank'>Polymer City Chronicles</a>
which both begin as gag-based but eventually start coherent, serious and involved story arcs.
Also worth a look:
<a href='http://www.sinfest.net/' target='_blank'>Sinfest</a>
<a href='http://www.megatokyo.com/' target='_blank'>Megatokyo</a>
There's also <a href='http://www.clanbob.net/lifeofriley.php?view=2001-02-07' target='_blank'>The Life of Riley</a>, which started out as an <i>excellent</i> comedy involding paintball competitions against the forces of Hell and then degenerated into a long and incredible pretentious and cliched epic tale of the struggle between Heaven and Hell. Now defunct. May be your thing.
<a href='http://www.achewood.com' target='_blank'>Achewood.</a>
<a href='http://www.maakies.com/' target='_blank'>Maakies.</a>
<a href='http://cheston.com/pbf/archive.html' target='_blank'>Perry Bible Fellowship.</a>
<a href='http://www.slowwave.com/' target='_blank'>Slow Wave.</a>
<a href='http://www.qwantz.com' target='_blank'>Qwantz.</a>
Those are the essentials. Hm. It's also worth taking a look at the older <a href='http://www.angryflower.com' target='_blank'>Bob the Angry Flower</a> strips, although he hasn't made anything really funny for over a year, IMO.
It's dicontinued now, but man, it was the funniest gamer's comic ever.
Angst Technology
Perry Bible Fellowship
You can google em. :P
Jack. Has a good deal of mature content, but otherwise good. Depends on the person.
ownage in a pouch, my friend.
I personally enjoy <a href='http://thelounge.keenspace.com/' target='_blank'>The Lounge</a> and <a href='http://nekothekitty.keenspace.com/' target='_blank'>Neko the Kitty</a>
I too was drawn in by Condizzle's sig <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
<a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86636&hl=comics' target='_blank'>-=]Poopyload of comics here[=-</a>
ok that was kind of sad, but still...
Heh, 2 kinds, its a interesting read, but you all know you just stuck through it in anticipation of the moment Flora bonks Trace. It never happens though, so if you started reading them recently you can stop now.
Google it XD
I haven't updated it in about a month and a half... but IT'S STILL GOOD. READ IT. DEAR GOD.
Actualy the comic is almost over ;(, but still worth reading the backlog
<a href='http://twolumps.keenspace.com/' target='_blank'>Two Lumps</a>
By the author of <a href='http://flem.keenspace.com/' target='_blank'>Flem</a> (clcik through for the Jay Storyline)
<a href='http://www.electric-manga.com/index.html' target='_blank'>Kagerou</a>
Described as a Manga instead of comic. Very odd but good.
<a href='http://thedevilspanties.keenspace.com/' target='_blank'>The Devil's Panties</a>
Cute and funny

<a href='http://www.fragile-minds.com/crashnbass/index.php' target='_blank'>Crash & Bass (megaman related comic)</a>
<a href='http://www.quirkybastards.net/halfpark/half_park.html' target='_blank'>Half-Park</a>
<a href='http://farm.muddasheep.com/cgi-bin/hqa_comics.cgi?page=202' target='_blank'>Half-Quake Amen</a>
<a href='http://www.rpgworldcomic.com/' target='_blank'>RPGWorld Comic</a>
<a href='http://www.manatheater.com/archives.htm' target='_blank'>Secret of Mana theater</a>
Also one more, but it's not entirely PG-13 so I'm not linking it.
EDIT: And don't forget the <a href='http://qwantz.com' target='_blank'>Daily Dinosaur Comic!</a>
<a href='http://www.fragile-minds.com/crashnbass/index.php' target='_blank'>Crash & Bass (megaman related comic)</a>

on the note of non pg-13 comics...
there is always The Thin H Line (aka Sexy Loosers)
then again that would be X (though it isn't pron)

Yeah, the comic's pretty good. I saw it through his sig, too. This guy has some real talent, but some of his art seems a little rushed...
