<div class="IPBDescription">...not individual achievement.</div> "I'm winning!"
"I'm the best marine here baby! Look at my ratio!"
"W00t my rat1o r00lz!"
People are so concerned about their own score that they could care less about what happens to their team. It's not limited to just this mod as I'm sure most of you are aware; almost every teamwork-based multiplayer game is littered with the same kinds of quotes as above.
Wouldn't it be great if the game didn't keep track of individual achievement, and only worry about the team?
I'd love to see personal scores removed, and replaced with a count of the total number of kills and deaths on the entire team ('Marines: 74 kills - 152 deaths' for example). This would help take peoples minds off their own personal agendas and devote themselves to the team effort.
Opinions?

(Sorry if that's a little garbled, it's 1 AM and I've made at least 5 posts saying that today)

...actually, thats the way it works on the marines team...
well if you look at what he's implying, he's talking about the scoreboard and how its condensed into the header... but its already that way.
But it is still just as bad on marines thanks to the status command.
Even though I screwed up the example, the point still stands. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
