i doubt it VERY much... and also seeming that it is called NS 3.0... not NS 3.0 beta 6...

also, less than 200mb?? doesn't that sound a little bit small??? especially for a full installer?

lol... ive only just finished downloading HL on 56k for steam since i had to re-install now they want me to download another 133mb after ive just downloaded beta 5 aswell. *starts crying*

Ah well cant wait to see some of the changes sens most of all.

It's a rather hefty changelog, and I'll be happy when it's finally ready for everyone to get their hands at. i was playing online with 56k for about 4 years, i know how much of a pain in the **** it is to have to use steam on a slow connection, i had so much bother with it, i feel for yas <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

I started with NS on 56k, back in the gamespy arcade days before steam. It rocked back then, when I first tried Steam on 56k it didn't work well at all...

omg its aliencow!

well steam still blows for me
i got broadband and a kickass pc and it still likes to kick me randomly of servers
but after a year of that crap you get kinda used to it <_<
