Well, I'm always trying to create logos myself, I've always been more of a layout design person.. but those people who can come up with the good logos like that, man, just genius

well theyre not exactly a corporation, so they dont need much of a logo. Im pretty sure Kharra board meetings are something like

Fade: 'So wht do you guys think of the hive logo?'
Marines: 'Err umm *cough *cough* (more random dissaproval)'
Fade: 'So, you guys want me to kill you...Is that it?'
Marines: 'No no! its lovley, we love it! right guys? (sounds of approval)'

I was playing W40k Dawn of War when I saw the Dark Angels' logo. I knew immediately I needed a green and beige/gold army called the Frontiersmen to wreak havoc on the Orkz.

The logo was done by Cory 'Squeal like a Pig' Strader. When he was still more active around here, he was once asked about the similiarities to the WH40K logo. His paraphrased response was that he, like Charlie, weren't really familiar with the Warhammer universe at the beginning of NS' development, and that the combination of weapons and wings is as old as heraldic lore. In so far, it's more likely that both the Gamer's Workshop artists and Cory thought of similiar medieval crests when coming up with their designs.

I'm Curious.
