seeing as they have now made sensory so good that it doesnt require skill because you know only like 5% of the ns players can ambush, i think we should make cl_autoaim 1 default because only few of the ns like 5% of the ns comunity is good at aiming i think this would result in a much more ballanced game for all.

    this is a very good point and I think it should be implemented, just look at RTS games, they're easy to balance and it's all down to tactics because unless the units have something affecting them then they don't miss!

    I don't see why it's stupid? I mean, if it was for the marine team only it would work like the sensory chamber does now! Remove the need for skill and teamwork from the game!

    Good point, its not like NS has anything to do with skill and teamwork anyway, so let's abolish it.

    Right this is a mutiny, I hereby take-over leadership of the Natural Selection project, hence forth to be known as Rambo Selection, or RS for short. In version 3.02 we expect to see everything about 3.0 final that you liked removed; we're going back to basics.

    And this means Combat only. And now you mention it, both teams shall be exactly the same, with merely different skins. In fact scrap that, let's have the same skins, it will add to the intense confusion and excitement.

    3.02 release date: Tomorrow.

    All that needs to be done to balance NS is to include an aimbot with the default install and remove the observatory for a droppable railgun that can shoot through walls and kills hives, onos, etc, in one hit.

    This has turned into a bit of a spamthread by now, but there is one valid point brought up: a very subtle autoaim (or researchable autoaim?) may shift the focus back from individual skill to tactics. Whether or not you consider this a good thing is personal opinion.

    If you mean this suggestion seriously, I suggest re-making a thread in I&S, and don't introduce it with the current hot debate topic of whether sensory chambers require less skill. Speak about it for what it is: a way to shift more of the focus from FPS to RTS.
