not trolling here or anything I would just like to know WHY was it changed/taken out?and WHO told them or somebody how to do it and who the goof(s) was that told the ns team?no biggy.

    I've heard of server plugins that allowed this, and once a mention of a "bug" that allowed this, but it may have been some fool playing on a server with a plugin.

    It was never intended to be in the game at all, it never will be in the game(with any luck). Aside from the trouble of spending that much on each indivudal soldier, it would make them somewhat overpowered, don't you think?

    And oh you mean in Combat. I'm thinking Classic, so ignore me. But I'm still right!

    I can imagine going on those 50lvl servers and getting resupply, HA, JP, and nano armor. The only thing that could kill you would be devour.

    it would be a good change in my opinion. aliens are able to bypass upgrade restrictions in combat, and so should marines. i would NOT like to see this in NS maps however. aliens are way overpowered in combat, and the extra level servers make them worse with fully upgraded focus onos and fades killing everything in 1-2 hits

    Aliens are not overpowered in combat if you keep the time limit down to 15 minutes or so. Then, they won't be able to get much past their regular NS mode upgrades.

    Extra Level Servers --> Static Field = Ownage

    I don't need levels beyond the default maximum. With the 9 upgrades you get, you can have a Celerity/Carapace/Regen/Focus/Metabolize Fade. GG. A marine can have...level 3 weapons, level 2 armor, JP, resupply, shotgun. Guess who wins?

    it would make sense for a HA to have a jetpack if the heavy could not go as high or stay in the air as long as a normal jetpack. maybe reduce the fuel to like 30%

    but i dont even want this idea.

    except for the HA + JP, i've done that. Very funny, my armour was repairing so quick that the only thing that could kill me was devour.

    I'd like to see marines able to reselect their' upgrades after they spawn( same as aliens ), everytime I go heavy someone on alien goes Onos, and then you're just canned marine for the rest of the round.

    yes i agree. lack of marine teamwork is key to losing in combat. i played a few games vs those super onos and we won simply because we all went heavies and we all had welders to weld each other. a small team stayed behind to defend the main base, and we waited for everyone to respawn in base before we pushed out again as a team. with resupply and welding you can get most of your team intact into grenadable distance from the hive and kill it.

    Yes, it would be nice for teamwork, combat and pub play to all be bundled together in one package but it's hard enough getting it to happen in classic. I see alot more rambo jetpackers win the game for marines than anything else, why must I be punished everytime I wan't to try something different and go heavy ?
