I sayd simpsons in reality-my logics say there are no impsons in reality so it must be somekind of voiceactor and "watch at your own risk" is there because it may ruin the eperience of watching Homer ever again.

Conan O'Brian had two of the Simpsons voice actors on, and they just started going off, playing with the voices. It's just a video clip from that night.

    That's great!

I don't understand how they can manipulate their voices so well.

It's actually kinda weird, yet cool. It's just odd seeing those voices coming out of real people. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

The sad part is that the stuff they were coming up with off the top of their head was better than 90% of the recent scripts.

With such established voice actors, characters, etc. the only real possible downfall of The Simpsons is crappy writing. and it looks like it's happening.

And the fact that it's been going for the past godknows how many years and it's just getting tired in it's old age.

I liked the simpsons as much as the next guy a couple years ago, but it's really gone far far far downhill. That, and Family Guy does the simpsons far better than the simpsons do it.

Yeah, the simpsons is my favorite show, but the new episodes have been kinda crappy for the past 2-3 years.

Family Guy, in my opinion, has been worn out just from constant rerun by Cartoon Network.

IT almost gets get angry when i turn on CN and Family Guy is on. I've seen them all so many times.

Hope the next season is just as good and fresh as the old ones used to be.

I still find Family Guy reruns pretty funny, but you're right, after time they're just not as good. But the thing is about the Simpsons is that even brand new episodes were quite tired and not all that funny, let alone the reruns which i avoid as much as possible.

I remember when they had the lady that did Bart on Conan O'Brien. She said the strangest question someone ever asked her was if she did the voice when she was in bed w/her husband.

...that would just be weird if that happened.

Unfortuanate, but it seems to be quite true.

Watching them do this is kind of like listening to the commentaries when they have the voice actors there. It's kind of strange to hear their "real" voices, as they often sound like the characters (especially Yeardley Smith/Lisa) .

Meh The Simpsons never gets old, even if you've seen an episode 5000 times before.
And the episodes of Family Guy I watched didn't seem too funny to me.
