Expanding Baton For Knife

Hey is it possible to redo the knife animations or something so you could have something like say... a police defensive expandable baton for the knife?
The draw animation would be you snapping your hand out and down to extend it.
Then you could beat skulks and oni up with it.

I suggest you keep the tonfa style handlebar.

When I mess with my asp, I do one of those twirl things with it. I don't like the Deus Ex putaway animation. Asps are stiff, so they don't detract easily. You have to hit it straight against somethin hard (concrete) to detract them.

They make differnt types of batons
Destroyer is referring to friction lock batons, U need to bash it off something to basically jar it loose again.
They do however have auto lock ones which have a button on the bottom of the grips (the aiming point for anyone that actually knows how to use one). That way you can press that and then collapse the baton. Its also good for when you want to extend it without having to do the "high profile" deployment ie. whipping it out.

Also, on topic, i think this model could come out real good, just the animations are the thing that's going to kill/make this one.
The model does look good. Any suggestions for the animations?
