<div class="IPBDescription">Trying to decide</div> Righto i have a decide something, to be honest i am bored with most mmorpg's becuase they involve this lvl up fight bigger mosters get a bigger spell for bigger monster (or weapon or what ever) i'm not saying all mmorpg's are but most (like os wow and eq2)
So heres my problem if any one remebers <a href='http://www.wwiionline.com/scripts/wwiionline/index.jsp' target='_blank'>ww2 online</a>

Soon it will be released in a box (v soon un us and june in europe) i want to know should i get it now ( with out box and map blah blah )
or wait and get box heres the thing ww2 is going under some changes it is going to change engine more armys will be added as well as new places like pacific africe russia,

Now incase you dont know what ww2 online is it is pretty much what is says really but the really cool thing is it wil 1/2 scale of the world it is realistic you have big planes wars

Here what i want to know do i wait and get it with box or do i get it now? i tryed a trial a long time ago but i didnt thinck it was that great becuase it would be walk for a while and die or wait for enemy for 1 hour then 10 min of action but ww2 online has so much comming for it now
it now has paratroopers

IIRC, it really suffered from bugs. I'd hold off until you know this one isn't the same.

Many of the bugs have been fixed since i last played (bout a year ago on a free trial which there currently are non of)

Though my pc icurrently need upgrading it crashes on every game (exept eq2 <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />)
and i do not know why so ill get a new mobo and cpu

when did you last play? was fine when i last played bit crap having to use joystick but thats proberly becuase i didnt bother asining it to any thing else and how i think the beyond blizkrieg is meant to be a bit better so it gets mroe people into game but no aiming a gun is easy look down sights and fire from waht i remeber bout a year ago
they are trying to make it easyer but its a bit of a sim all realistic cockpits and every things inside tanks ..

It is many thasands (no kiding) also the map there are no loading zones thats right it is one continious map 1/2 scale ther is about 7500 people on at moment but it changes depending most U.S people prolly asleep now so it will increase when they wake up hehe

At the moment ther are no trials (last one just ended) and there proberly wont be any mroe till the retail comes out but what you can do is go to ww2 online website (list above) and go to downloads and download the game (and patch if you want new stuff) then you can install it and go into "pratice" where you can play with every thing on a island (kind big) only thing is it will be just you in there but it will give you a chance to play it

only trouble is my pc is being crap i need to upgrade <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

yea wasnt this the game that to fire a bolt action rifle you had to like alt-left click-right click-hold down shift-left click every time?

and yea I would hope by now all the 10,000 bugs would be fixed.

i dont remeber that and i first played it (trial) about 2 yrs ago so it must of been when it first came out which i agree it was known for its bug but i can happly say not there are very few bugs <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' />

lol, actually a lot of vets play this

You wont find that many gimpy players its a good game from what i remeber some fun points inclueded sneaking up on a tank and puting lots of charges on it and defening a town from every thing the germans had

only trouble was i was crap at air combat <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /> i couldnt land the damn plane lol

huh? they are completly free

If and i mean if you need to put any credit card stuff in ( which i didnt not have to i did 2 diff traisl 1/12 years apart) it is top stoop people doing trail over and ovver again ou will not be charged it is becuase there used to be one trial after another and you coul dplay for a long time (with a new chater) so please explain what you mean if this is not it

You have to <i>buy</i> the game to get the so called "Free trial". It's exactly the same as the trial that every single other MMO gives you when you buy it, but more misleading.

if you look there you will see you can get a free trial with out buying game but becuase they are going to release game in a month they do not have any ( might be less than month) so there will not be any untill game has been released but not only do you get a free trial (liek the planetside one ) you can if you like it buy the game then get a month ffree as you said

I played when it first came out and even with the bugs I loved the game.

Been thinking about renewing my account b/c last I heard they implemented paratroopers and the graphics and everything look a lot better than it did before.

I'd say buy the box version and wait b/c if you've read the forums you know they've been updating the patch and the new patch will come with the box.

Hold out for the box and for everything to be finished.

I have decided what to do:) i shall get it online rather than pay £30 punds for a box which comes with a manual (which i s online any how) and a pin up map (which might be cool but also is online and in game) and a box (which do i really need?) i can but an activation key for £10 so for what its worth i get all the same game but i pay £20 for a box a map and a book (maybe some other stuff) so there i will get it when i gte my new pc bits (it dont work at moment) gotta be better than the repetative of the likes of eq and wow you will be fighting for the freedom of the world this is not just about you, its not even about your country it is about the freedom of the people of the world.
To release the grip of the nazi's (ino offence) from the grip of europe and fight them back from whence they came we will fight them in the air, we will figh them on the ground, we will fight them in the sea's and oceans and we will never step back ( cough yes got carryed away)

The monthly price is pretty high. I guess I'd have to be miserly and only subscribe during months that I have many days off (Summer months, Christmas, Spring and Fall breaks). Also whats up with it saying you need a minimum of 1 GB hard drive yet the installer is 125 MB? Their compression can't be that good...

I've been through about 5 free trials for this game (I'm poor), and I keep coming back because it's so fun and addictive. There's currently no game out there that can simulate battles between hundreds of people at once, especially not with air, sea, infantry and armoured combat. Once you learn the mechanics of the game and land yourself into a good squad, you'll be having a blast guaranteed. It may take a little patience at times, but if you don't want to drive your tank column all the way from a back town to get to the action, there are usually tons of mobile spawn points set up to get in the combat quickly. And there is nothing more fun than jumping into a hot town with 50 other paratroopers and cleaning out all the enemy infantry and tanks.

The next time a free trial comes out, download it. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

the installer will patch a bit ( also it does eat a bit or ram lots going on but most systmes should be okay) also price wise it is about the same if not a little cheaper than wow or eq2, but trust me when your in a huge battle planes bataling over head (if a night the flak thing going on) tanks rolling into position and gun shots in the distance you cannot beat it

You if havn't played it before wait for a trail (normaly a few about (non at mo becuase of box release))
