Well simple add a quote checker at every post visible on the screen.
Now when you press "add reply" it automaticly adds all the quotes you checked.

That is built into IPB 2.0, which I believe is around $200 for a license.

Ive noticed this as well
It sucks
OR.... another idea
USE THE QUOTE TAG's..... and CTRL-C (copy) and CTRL-V (paste) all the relevant information.... which if u diddnt know the whole thread is below you when you type a reply....
I mean 90 percent of the time i dont use the quote button, cuz im adressing a single statement, not his entire 3 page thesis on why aliens need to be colored blue...... :-P
But i understand some people are lazy and need it.... so id be for this if it diddnt cost 200 dollars

It's definitely obnoxious when you need to quote more than one person and you have to make the rest of them by hand. All I can say is that I would like that feature better than not having it, but I don't know how feasible it is to upgrade the forums for that.

The nice thing about using the quote button is that it fills in the name of the person you are quoting to make it easier for others to read, along with the date and time (which will be off due to time zone differences, but that's how it works). Also, the IPB 2.0 feature makes a link back to each post that is being quoted right after the quote.
