<div class="IPBDescription">Server Side Stuff</div> Ive seen some servers with maps running that start with co_ms_ , They dont download all the needed files like sprites to the client and you have to play on that server to play the map. Whats up with that ?

    the servers probably doesn't have allowdownload set to allow

    sv_allowdownload
    cl_alldownload

    I belive those are the cvars, In my experiance though even this only allows download of the .bsp map file.

    There is probably a way to resolve this if I come across it I'll post back soon.

    no there isnt and thats not whats happening unfortunately.
    These servers convert other peoples maps but use ripent so a number of entities dont get downloaded to the client.
    Meaning that these maps are serverside only <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
