Problems With Light O_o

<div class="IPBDescription">flashlights, phase gates</div> Everytime a marine uses his flashlight, or scan area (even when im the rine) or im close to a phase gate, or a huge amout of structers on ns games, my latency has a huge spike, its getting very annoying, and i have no idea why this is happening, any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Could you give us a little more information please:

    PC Specs
    Connection Type

    FPS and ping have a close relationship if your FPS is dropping in areas you ping will go up, thier is a command variable for dynamic lights, cl_dynamiclights 0 i think. It may also be in the options menu of NS under advanced but im not sure if it works correctly, try turning it off to see if it helps.

    Uhm Im running Win XP, with a Intel® 82810E Graphics Controller (I know crappy vid card) I also got a Pentium III, with ~730MHz, and i have cable internet. I also did turn off the dynamic lights.
