    Somehow I managed to find a download link that's getting it to me at 30-50 KB/sec...not particularly speedy, as I hear the torrents that <i>do</i> work are going at 500, but I'll take what I can get.

    The download mirror I was getting it from just decided to cough, and only the first few minutes of the film I downloaded are viewable in the resulting corrupt file...just like the commentators on slashdot say, a surprising amount of effort went into production value, and the acting is noticeably amateur. Arguably no different from the prequels <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    In other words, it timed out, you're using IE and it doesn't tell you one from the other, and now you know what getting slashdotted means.

    edit: I'm on a torrent and getting near 100kb/s

    too bad I'm not on my normal computer, so I'll have to redownload it

    Actually I'm using Fire Fox, and it just tells me that the page cannot be found.

    Saw it, it's not bad considering...

    The female lead gets a little better later in the movie, the female supporting is never very good.


    Taking into account that this is a fan film, it really isn't bad at all.

    Watched this today.

    Good CG, especially on the space battles.
    Decent enough plot.
    Absolutely horrible casting/acting.
    Especially for the role of Miss Fatty McEmoGoth.

    All in all it was decent, but I've seen much much better fanfilms. I guess the quality of Troops and <a href='http://www.crewoftwo.com/movie/index.html' target='_blank'>Duality</a> kinda spoils you. :P

    Yeah I saw it today and while it did have good CG effects I kept having flashbacks of old interactive "multimedia" games. I was able to stream it so I only watched so much of it so it wasn't a waste of my time.

    Actually the ending was a tiny little bit better than the first half.
    Don't bother to watch it again though, it wasn't that much better.
