<div class="IPBDescription">on old school nintendo</div> so yea im stuck on palace 5. ive been everywhere i can go, even to the boss, but i cant find the treasure thing anywhere here. ive come to an area where i beat one of those blue dudes in armor with a sheild that throws swords at you, and theres a wall. on the other side of the wall i can see a key and another room, but i dont know how to get there. ive been stuck her for quite some time. ive tried jumping through the wall which doesnt seem to work, even with the jump spell. ive also tried using the fairy spell and the fairy cant get through the wall anywhere either.

ive looked at a strategy guide thing of this castle since ive been stuck here and it just says to jump through the wall. ive been trying this though, and i cant get it to work. any help?

The way to get around that is to copy the url for the link into the address bar manually, then it will work. They just won't let people link directly to images on their server.

I was stuck on like the 3rd castle. Mostly because I'd lose 2 of my lives to GET there. I have the Zelda Collectors Edition Disc for GC, and a strategy guide for it too. But for I and II the guides arn't very detailed, they only show the dungeon maps and a few other things, very little. I've stopped playing though, only game I really play now is... well, Natural Selection <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

Been a while since I played it, but the fairy power (other than making Link homosexual) alows you to pass through the keyholes in doors. That may be a later dungeon where you'll need to know that though...

those stupid knights are ridiculously hard to kill. sometimes i'd spend 10 minutes just hitting sheilds and blockign knives to kill just ONE

upgrade your weapon power.. and doing the hop attack tends to work. Jump up very low, and then land and do the crouch attack. works about 1/3 or 2/3 the time.

The other trick, is if it isn't a crowded hallway, is to downward thrust and pogo off the guy. The blue ones are too smart to take their shield down, but it's fun!

I didn't beat this game until I was 12, so don't feel too bad.

New Zelda looks kick ****, though i still <3 windwaker.

I have the origional zelda 2 on my NES, i'm so old skool <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />
Unfortunatly I only have the first zelda for GBA.

my brother had almost every game imaginable on nes, even dragon warrior 1-4. 1 is easy to find, but 2 and 3 are pretty hard. 4 is almost impossible to find. then he sold everything. there were like 150 games that he had.

i still have my nes but it's a real pain to get some of the cartridges to work anymore. seem sto have bad contacts or something. i just use emulators nowadays. also negates the risk of an idiot walking by and tripping on the wires and resetting your game

Mine sort of works....I think that last kick put it out of commision (and my sister has the other one). It was from 1987...I think 16 years is a pretty good run, actually <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /> .

On that note: Zelda 2 sucks...Zelda 1 is okay, but I never bothered to find out where that 8th castle was. Pffft, I wish I had FF1 <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /> .

zelda 1 and 2 are hard. one day i decided to go through all the zeldas and beat them all. so far ive beaten them all up to ocarina except for zelda 2, which i think im currently on the last castle of. then i have the final fortress or whatever. i just remember at the end you fight shadow link, and he is effin hard. i never played it, just watched my bro.
