<div class="IPBDescription">help</div> Whenever I try to go into a game, as soon as its done loading the console brightens up a bit and I can't play <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> . when I press esc, i can see the action happening, but of course, I can't play becuase I am in the menu. If anyone can help AT ALL, I would Appreciate it greatly.

    Not sure, but I think that's a bug. Used to happen to me and a few ppl I know. But keep looking back in here, someone may know the answer.

    The console brightens up a bit?

    NS do have it´s own gammat and color tweaks so any change in color and brightness is to be expected. However. Why do you have have your consol open while loading a game? To be more precise, do you log on to a server through the consol?
    If so, try logging on from the built in server browser.
    When starting NS, do you have any special flags in the commandline?


    edit: With flags I mean things like "-heapsize, -console, -game" and so on added to the shortcuts exe path.

    This happens to me all the time if I alt-tab while Steam is on one of its loading screens. As long as I keep myself from doing so I never have it happen.

    I have the same problems, but with my crap system its very hard not to alt-tab because it takes so long to load <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    no, I don't have console open, I just try and go into a game found on the list, and when the server is done loading, the little message thing suddenly brightens a little and from there it doesn't work properly. if i move and hit exit real quick i can see my character moving for a sec and then coming to a halt. Does this help?

    I get this if i alt+tab out of ther game while its loading, sounds wierd. All i do is close hl.exe and start it again.

    To explain my problem and see if it's the same as yours:

    I join a random server, hit F1/F2 (join a team) I try to move and see nothing moving. When hiting esc. It'll then show where I should have moved to. Esc back into the game, move around but it again won't show what's going on. Again hit esc and it'll show me where I should be.

    Not sure why, no clue how to fix it. Happend to plenty of people I know. But it hasn't done it for awhile.

    Is that anything like what happens to you people?
