Hltv In Ns 3.1 ?

all is in the title, it is the thing I am wanting the most and I am sure I am not the only in this case.
So will there be a WORKING HLTV in ns 3.1 ?
I already said it numerous time but I will say it again, I think bringing back the old working hltv is the quickest and better way if the new one doesn't work, btw I think I prefer the old one..

Anyway, I don't think you can consider the game "finished" with a broken HLTV, so I'd expect it to be fixed for 3.1...?
What you can do now though is look at the minimap when using first person demos.
On the map you can actually see the location of the various players.
Ive been met with, "Its valves fault" well, it really isnt.
Sure, some things might be, but dont tell me that CS can display its smoke grenades sprites properly, but they cant make NS play the spore/umbra sprites?

And those are just SOME of the issues. Im sure the dev team can fix a majority of the issues if they just put the time into it.

On the contrary, I would be willing to bet that the large majority of NSplayers barely know that HLTV exists, let alone that it is broken in NS. I'd guess that even as much as half the forum comunity has never heard of this issue. It's really too bad because this is a frigging annoying bug.
We are very much aware what works/doesn't work in HLTV and it's on our list of things to be addressed. The most common issues (health/armour displays etc) are things that we "should" be able to fix. There have been some concerns about "fixing" things like displaying particle systems which may be outside our control.
However, it would be irresponsible to give a timeframe as to when the fixes will be made available (if they will make it into 3.1 or not)
Since HLTV is something used almost exclusively by a small segment of the community (as SwiftSpear says 90%+ of the community is unlikely to even know what HLTV is) we have to decide the correct priority (vs. say fixing hitboxes or SG reload issues).
I know this isn't a direct "yes" or "no" answer, but it's impossible at this moment to say if this item is going to make the cut.

HLTV can be a great "commercial" for NS ... for free !!!
Websites like : CAL, CB etc... Have a common problem. What they write about the games they see, is not really exiting. Reading reports will never get close to a HLTV. Words VS images. So it makes the Websites look like "results grids" most of the time. Sometimes, HLTV are included in some reports, but only sometimes.
On the other hand if NS had a HLTV that is "crash-proof"; "easy to use"; "designed to fit optimal confort" (yeah i like wathing a game, having a b**, use keys to switch view/players). Competitive Websites could include more often "recorded HLTV file" of great games or converted files (mpg/avi) due to version changes.
It become easy to promote NS with that kind of things. People would learn (sometimes) more quickly how to play NS.
It'll be just more fun.
The other things (health, adrenaline, ...) are annoying too but if at least we could get a working overview it would be a good start.

PS: I think the main problem is wanting to fix something that was not broken and the result is that it is now broken..
