Second, is there a bug or something that some people are having with the motion sensing? it seems to only work for me about 33% of the time. Some times I can see the hives but no aliens while other times I see hives and aliens, and still other times nothing shows up even though Motion tracking has been researched. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem or if anyone has a fix for this. Thanks

    I've only had a problem with it in one game where I could only see one or two circles (maybe the hives) and none of the aliens. Seems like a pretty isolated case, and I have no clue how to reproduce it.

    I've also seen this. And I don't know why either. Hives only, no Aliens.

    The picture shows a motion <i>waaaaayy</i> down below, which is probably out of the map...?

    I've seen this circle in bast for a few times, going from up to down, in a steady speed... something like an elevator or something? but it has a blue circle...

    Ive had notjing but problems with motion tracking, sometimes it just stops working even if the observatory is still up...

    I havent had many problems with it...it works good for me..

    IMO, it's probably the best upgrade a smart marine could use.

    I just quit a server where it refused to work for the whole time I was there (few hours). All we'd see would be the hives, no aliens were showing up (when in motion). I was surprised the first time a skulk ran around a corner and chomped me, especially when there was a blue circle for his hive, but not for him. Ah well...

    This is an odd problem.. Could this be server side related.. I've played in many diffrent servers and sometimes EVERYTHING works fine.. and on other servers nothing shows up or some things show but fade at fare distances... ODD

    Hmmm, I wasn't evem aware that Motion Tracking picks up hives...I mean, they aren't really moving (maybe pulsating...whatever). In any case, you gotta keep in mind that it only works if what it is tracking is moving. In my experience, it also seems to lag anywhere from a tiny bit to a whole lot behind the alien.
