hahah, yeah i noticed that too, "Hey! he's playing HLDM!" it felt awesome to see HLDM being used as opposed to something evil like.. uh.. unreal tournament.... despite that being awesome as well...

well, you get what i mean at least.

good question, i fear it may have been one of my awesomeness induced temporary insanities, it happens when i am so overwhelmed with awesome that i completely forget the meaning of a word and just decide to use it because i thought it went there.

no big deal however, i shall apologize immediately for misplacing the word "harrowing" with "hallowing"

Hallowing:

1. To make or set apart as holy.
2. To respect or honor greatly; revere.

Mein most sincere apologies for wasting thine skorpion's valuable time, i shall attempt to apply more fastidious methods to my word-grooming. thing.

I saw this dude (and kid) in a documentary about the history of video games (PBS). He's a crappy parent and his kids sucks. Not to say that video games can't be good, just that his family seems like a terrible example.

I did too. It wasn't quite as easy as 3, but basically I thought, symmetric, 4 and 4 gives 8.

You missed the point he was making.

Saying "there's 4" without thinking is what he's talking about.
Saying "4+4 = 8" is technically counting.
Congratulations, you have joined the wonderful world of counting, next up we have our times tables.

Yeah we were counting when we did that. I did the same also. The only part where we didn't count was when we took for granted that there was 4 on each side.

i said "8 balls" out loud, without counting the balls. I don't know, i just knew there were 8 balls before my brain actually told my consciousness, that there were 8 balls. balls

Actually that wasn't what helped me.

It was those blasted Sonic games! Its high-speed gameplay really needs you to keep your eyes peeled....

Well that, and the Sonic Adventure 2 Time Attacks for the extra VS costumes. I swear I could run through Sky Rail without breaking a sweat....but that was long ago.

And I couldn't count the balls when he added the other 5 for some reason, so I was just stumped when he had 8
Apparently I've been slacking on gaming....

*fires up Sonic games*

I use arrow keys and I like to think I'm pretty good. I doubt anyone remembers how well I played NS, maybe I should go back to it. I know if I do I'll get my **** stomped like a pumpkin.

I used to use arrow keys because my brother did. I remember I'd have to push the keyboard over till the arrow keys were where the WASD keys are normally. Then I finally figured out what I was doing and switched over so I wouldn't have to move the keyboard around and so I could use all those extra keys around the WASD setup, i.e. E and R and Q etc.
