<div class="IPBDescription">AHHHH THE PAIN, IT BURNS IT BURNS!!!!!!!</div> Uh when I try to refresh my list it tries to go through like 30,000 servers, whats with that? Help me plz? Btw the first time I load half-life when starting up my computer it will find what I have filtered without going through 30,000 servers, but when I close it and re-open it without restarting, it tries to go through 30,000 servers. Help please.

    I've encountered this before, when you click on "Internet Games" and if your login is not automatically successful it will try different IPs to receive a server list and put up your filter options (I believe). If it fails then your filters aren't activated (or something along these lines) and it essentially updates every Half-Life server out there. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    When this happens, quit half-life and open it again.

    The desktop icon is bugged from my understanding (i never used it). Supposedly using the one in your start menu can fix this but i am not 100% sure on that. I use all seeing eye to get my server list.

    He's right. Also, it IS much better to use the All Seeing Eye to find servers.
