Looks good, so far but maybe fill the rooms and doorways with a light gray so you can see were the map is and were not

yeah i vote make a version with the inside of the map filled with a feint gray. and location names.

Light grey for rooms and passageways and faint red or blue for vents.

Makes them more recognizeable.

The idea was to make them as transparent as possible, so mainly for people who already know the maps but use the minimap to see whats going on around the map and whats infront of them <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' />

I like the idea about feint colours to show the map, i might do it if i have time, or anyone else can do it if they want.
